Hi everyone,

First of all, thanks for the Birthday greetings. We had a small party and house-warming on Saturday.

We’ve been quiet for quite awhile. Last year, we were busy getting ready for our move back to Finland. We bought a house and are now beginning to get settled in. We finally got our internet connection working last week so now it’s easier for us to keep in touch again. And maybe we’ll be able to post some new photos as well.

The kids have adjusted well to the new environment. It took some time for Sofia to understand snow but now she enjoys playing in it. However, Aylwin doesn’t like the snow that much. It’s a lot of work to clear the snow from the front yard and driveway after it snows heavily. Sofia’s also gotten used to going to day care. She was unhappy during the first week but now she looks forward to going there everyday.

One good thing about being here is that we have lots of family and friends living nearby. The kids really enjoy having many playmates. It’s also good because we can easily get help when needed. Aylwin goes quite often to Helsinki by car and comes back late in the afternoon. On those days, I can ask my mom, for example, to pick up the kids.

Finally, for those who don’t know yet, we’re expecting again. Yes, another baby is coming to the family. I’m half way pregnant right now and the delivery will be around middle of June. Sofia doesn’t understand yet what’s going on but Reko is excited. In fact, he says that he want us to have 10 kids!
