The last day of 2005 started on a trip to Kanchanaburi, my Mom’s hometown. Kanchanaburi, situated at the west of Thailand bordering Myanmar, is famous for the River Kwai & its bridge as well as the WWII museum & cemetary. Amie, Russell, Daniel & I had a great & wonderful time together with Mom.
Mom has a rest house on the mountain so it was a good R&R for us being isolated from the busy city. We celebrated the new year’s eve on the balcony with the quietness of the starry night and a glass of champagne. It was different indeed compared to the other new year’s but I think it was one of the best, or yet the best, new year’s I ever had.
As always, I just want to share with you all the photos I took there (which explains my absence from almost all of the pics). Neverthless, it would be great to hear how you guys spent your new year’s. Have a great year!
