We are coming home!! Yes, Mama and I with Amielia and Jason have booked our tickets to fly to Cebu arriving on 28/8/06@1am. Ate Erna (Ferrer) will be picking us up since she already lives in Lapu-Lapu City. Don’t have an itinerary as yet on what we’re doing when we get there but we definitely have Manila in mind since we have promised Uncle Lalu so many times already. Unfortunately we are not able to visit Ate Amie and family in Thailand as our funds does not quite get us there.
All is good here in Oz. Aileen and Adam are busy preparing for parenthood which is very exciting. Aileen is now showing a little bump. Amielia will finally have someone to play with. Yes, we would like to have another one but it took awhile for Amielia to come along so we are very thankful with one at this stage. Plus, I really don’t want to be a new mum at 40!! Only 5yrs to go and I hit the big 40!!
Mama is still recovering from her operation and going through physio but at least now she’s no longer in a wheelchair and we’re hoping she’s ditched the crutches by the time we take our trip.
I wish we have more exciting news to tell you but unfortunately we have just been home-bodies not doing too much apart from work. Adam and Jason are playing touchfooty but since I’ve had Amielia I’ve only played 1 season….getting a bit lazy. Family and friends in Philippines will be able to see the effect of that laziness…..I’m carrying a little salbabida around the waist at the moment. Petra I am soooo jealous, how did you get your figure back so quick?
Amielia is growing up fast. She’s a very good learner as well. At 20months she can now string 2-3 words together, knows quite a few colours, count 1-10, loves to dance and sing (wonder where she got that from J) but she can be cheeky as well. Poor Uncle Adam was talking to a visitor 1 day and in the corner of his eye noticed something on the wall and when he looked closer…..they were big crayola circles! Mmmmm….wonder who could have done that! One thing I’m really happy about though is that Amielia loves her rice! Yes and she can eat it just plain by the handful so there’s no problem feeding her when we get home.
Uncle Lalu, I would love to know who can make puto just like Nanay? I’ve never tasted puto as good as Nanay’s so cannot wait to go to Lutopan and taste it!
Aylwin I just also want to say that we cannot thank you enough for providing this website so we can all catch up on what is happening in our lives!!! Even though we are all so far apart it somehow brings us close together.
So family and friends, we would love to hear from you and see your pictures. Start posting some!!
