Yesterday we arrived back in Finland after two months in the Philippines. I was there for work but the whole family came along. It was good to be there. For one, Sofia has really improved her English and now is comfortable speaking in both Finnish and English. It was also nice to escape the cold temperatures of the Finnish winter and early spring. On the other hand, it wasn’t very easy being away from Finland for so long. It didn’t help that we were stuck in a small (not very good) serviced apartment the whole time.

We had a few activities and events during the trip. Quite a few photos too. When I have more time, I’ll post some photos and write more about the trip.

By the way, Grandma came back with us to Finland. She’ll being visiting us for 3 months. Petra goes back to work on Monday and Grandma will help take care of the kids during the day. Nico is a bit of a mama’s boy so it’ll be interesting to see how it goes in the beginning. This will anyway be good for Nico since he’ll start going to day care after Grandma goes back to Thailand.
