Dear all,

Just a quick note on the interment of Tiyo Tomas last Sunday, May 17 in Davao City, Philippines.  As advised by Princess, daughter of Noy Alex Cal, Tiyo Tomas died last Tuesday, May 12 at the age of 78.

We express our deepest sympathy to Tiya Pesing, Grace and Paul and their children.  Of Tiyo Tomas’ siblings, Tiyo Tias and Auntie Enciang were able to make it to Davao.  Tatay Pedro and Tiya Malda, due to health and age, were not able to go there.

Aside from the family of Alex and Delia Cal who are based in Tagum, Davao, many of our cousins from Cebu and Manila were able to go to Davao; namely, Primie, Boy Prisco, Junjun, Eddie and Mila, Ronnie and Anne, Farabeth, and Nenen.  Relatives from Samal Island, Zamboanga and Davao City came during the wake and funeral of Tiyo Tomas.  Maybe, it is also worth mentioning that Mayor Duterte was at the final rites at the cemetery.

Arcierie, Boboy Rachiel and their families offered mass in Danao City, Cebu.

Special mention to Noy Alex Cal and family and to Paul for their tireless efforts to support and help Tiya Pesing and Grace.

Thank you all for your prayers and financial support.  May the soul of Tiyo Tomas rest in peace.
